The Zanzibar Grand Palace has now opened the Largest Coference Facility in Stone Town. Offering space for up to 250 delegates or a Wedding for up to 180 persons, all under one fully air conditioned and self contained suite. The hotel also offers two further breakout suites for between 2 to 60 delegates, along with an extensive range of Audio Visual Aides. Our tariffs are easily affordable and are more than competitive in the local competition hotels. We also have a Marquee Tent capable of holding 100 people for a sit down dinner on our private lawns in front of the Hotel. All Suites are available for hire on a room only basis for certain types of Weddings or Traditional Events.
Our Bamnara Rooftop Restaurant offers a splendid view over Stone Town harbour and all the coastline making it the perfect location for lunch and dinners. We have hosted gala dinners with up to 120 participants.
We co-operate with the best operators on the island to offer additional locations for gala dinners, organise special events and activities be it a private dhow safari, a seafood lunch on a deserted island or a teambuilding session on the ocean, while deep sea fishing.
Through our co-operation with the world famous dhow music accademy we are also proud about the level of the musical entertainment that we can offer.
The size of our hotel – 34 rooms – also allows us to offer a unique service on the island: You can book our hotel exclusively for your conference in order to guarrantee full privacy and business meetings undisturbed by traditional tourism.
